Book Review: Runaways V2

I just finished Runaways V. 2 at lunch. OMG, it is so cute.

I love that BKV is like "yes, let's give Marvel some continuity and bring in random vampire guy instead of wacky A-list character vs. Dracula." And poor sunshine girl is all emo. I think Alex and Nico are rubbing off on her.

It kind of makes me sad that one of them is working for their parents. I mean, sure, dramatic tension and all that stuff... I'm just really glad it's not Molly or Gert. (Or is it?)

Cloak and Dagger are for lamez though. But the "Cloak and Dazzler" thing was hilarious.

Of course the more I read it, the sadder I get that Whedon is now writing it. Though he might not be able to kill it as much consider he does pretty well when it's just teenagers, especially if they don't ever grow up because it's comics.

In other news, all my social plans have flopped big time for the week. Tonight's party was canceled because said host and several party goers still work for Satan my former employer. And clearly I need to know more kinky perverts in my area.

Though on the plus side, I do get a neverneverfic on Friday for some sci-fi.
