Last night as I was leaving work, the power went out on the block. And while today, it's restored, not all our equipment is working so I'm home today since e-commerce doesn't run on paper. *g* It was okay since I was going to be rather late considering I had errands to run, including picking up my SGA S2 DVDs from the post office. I have a tiny, tiny mailbox.

This afternoon, I have an appointment with harsh chemicals and spartacusjones to kill mold.

Change is afloat in my life. All of this is good change. I'm leaving Thursday night to take my car to my father for it's 200,000 mile tune-up. Spartacusjones is accompanying me so I don't have to drive the whole way myself. I really wish that I could fit that goddamn mattress I'm storing in my closet in the back of it. *hates on it* I'm really in a mood to get rid of stuff. Yes, I'm one of those people who cleans in the spring.

Now I will watch "Duet" because it's awesome. Even though early SGA S2 always makes me miss Ford.

Do they have a service in your city where they will occasionally come pick up old furniture? We have something called Sunset Scavengers here. They do the regular trash pick-up, but you can call them and make an appointment for them to come pick up things like couches, mattresses, etc, and if they're still in good condition, they go to charity I believe. It's pretty sweet.

Oh, I would find someone in 10 minutes to do that if I could. The problem is that it's technically my mom's mattress and we've gotten into 6 fights about how I'm not supposed to give it away because it's hers. And she lives 6 hours away and hasn't gotten her ass up here to pick it up.

Yay for a day off! I'm in major cleaning out mode too. God, it feels good to rid of stuff! Have a fun drive on Thursday! :)

Well, now that I came back with a bunch more stuff, I'm in a even bigger cleaning and organizing mood. Now I just need to get rid of a dresser and a mattress and get a bookcase and it should be a lot better.

Spartacusjones and I ended up spending most of our time cleaning out my stuff at my mom's. Who knew how many Star Trek collectibles I had... It took us like 2 days.

It's cool. I spent the weekend having a yard sale. I would really like to see you some time though. Maybe one of these days when I am driving south we could stop in Tacoma. I hope that you had a nice trip.
