Looking for Fic Recs

I'm looking for fic recs of break-up stories. So many stories celebrate romance, the beginnings of things, etc., but I want the stories where people get dumped. I'm not looking for the ones where S2 Buffy dumps Angel to be with Xander. I'm also not looking for Sheppard and McKay had a one night stand because the aliens made them do it and then never talked about it again. I'm looking for true, they were together, loved/like each other, but had to leave. I don't care for stories where Wilson leaves House because he's a drug addict or Angel turns into Angelus. I want stories that are a true parting of ways where neither party is completely demonized. I read Buffyverse, House, SGA, due South, X-Men, and some more.

Ugh, have you read the dS story, End of the Road by katallison? It's really long and wonderfully painful, if you like that kind of thing. Fabulous.
