Happy Hockey Day

I love living close enough to the Canadian border to get the CBC without the expansive cable package. That and lornelover and I are only like 10 hours via car through the snow to stalk Ron MacLean today.

GIP. Because my rookie hockey boyfriend is so cute and so Russian that it hurts. He has a totally adorkable NBC commercial. The Gretzky has predicted that Ovechkin will be just as good as The Gretzky was.

However, Hockey Day will be interrupted in order to pick up dramaturgca at the airport. She's lucky that we like her. ;) (Even if we secretly hate her as she went to a Ducks game over her winter break.)

The expensive hockey package is on free preview this week. So, I've seen lots of HDIC (except when the NBC games were on).

That's awesome. Sometimes, I tell lornelover that we need to get the bigger cable package so we can get other ESPNs (and G4, NOG, BBC, and Pants of Dance Off) and then she reminds me how we already pay an arm and leg to Comcast and its monopoly on our apartment building.
