A long, long time ago, a writer tried writing a WIP. It failed to be regularly updated as I found out just how much I don't like WIPs, writing or reading them. Over two years later, I finally sat down and finished it. Really it needed a lot of work to catch up to where I am now; however, I'd grown bored with some of the main characters and just didn't have the energy to really rework it. So I asked the beta to do a copy edit, instead of a true edit. And as an anal retentive person who catalogs fic both on my website and in my lj, I couldn't not post it here. And hey, you might enjoy it. There are definitely parts I enjoy and love.

The snowflakes tickled as they hit Wesley’s nose. Spike lofted a snowball at him. It hit him in the back, stinging for only a second.

Tonight was Winter Solstice, the long night. Spike and he had traveled to the mountains in celebration. Wesley was trying to point out the constellations that the smog of L.A. covered. But Spike had better ideas.

Spike ducked the snowball that Wesley had thrown in retaliation. If he made Wesley cold enough, they would go inside where a fire and blankets were waiting. Then Spike was going to warm Wesley and make him want to run naked into the cold after making love to him over and over.

Why is it that my kitten is so adorable, especially since it's fast asleep cuddled with my little stuffed tiger from Chelsea. I'm going to have to move it and its bed before I go to sleep so it's close to my bed.
